No, there is no fee for the integration. Simply download the Uber Eats app from the Square App Marketplace and set up your store to get started at no additional cost.
What if i'm using an Uber Eats tablet?
No problem at all. You can still follow the steps to set up your Square integration and start using your Square POS instead of the tablet.
What if i'm using a different integration?
No problem at all. When you set up the Square integration, your old integration will stopped automatically.

What is Uber Direct?
Uber Direct is a local delivery platform for businesses of all sizes and across all industry verticals. Merchants can offer on-demand delivery to their customers directly from their own channels.
What is the difference between Uber Direct and Uber Eats?
- Uber Direct is a white-label solution that allows merchants to add on-demand delivery to their own website, app, or other sales channels
- Uber Eats is an online marketplace where merchants are listed side by side offering their products to customers for delivery or pickup
Many merchants drive revenue by using Uber Direct and Uber Eats together. Uber Direct empowers merchants to serve their loyal customer base by offering delivery to those who order directly through the merchant’s own sales channels. Uber Eats connects merchants with new customers they may otherwise never have had the chance to serve.
How does customer support for Uber Direct work?
There are 2 options for support:
- Brand-managed support: You or your support team own and manage the relationship with your customers and will contact Uber Support on their behalf.
- Uber-managed support: Uber Support works directly with your customers for live order support and to initiate refunds (note: currently, Uber does not refund the customer; we will only inform you about the refund decisions and amount). Additional charges may apply for this option.
How far can I deliver with Uber Direct?
Uber Direct typically supports deliveries within a radius of 10 miles in serviceable locations, but we can deliver farther depending on your needs. When you speak with an Uber Direct representative, please discuss your delivery radius needs.
How do I sign up for Uber Direct with Square Online?
- Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Settings > Account & Settings > Fulfillment > Pickup & Delivery.
- Click Set up location by the location you want to enable delivery for.
- Indicate that you want to offer delivery by selecting Yes.
- Choose Uber Direct as your delivery provider.
- Confirm or change your default service provider, and indicate how you prepare orders for delivery.
- Select Continue to check which sites your location should be available on.
- Select Continue to review your settings so far, then select Edit to set up additional settings.
- Set up delivery related settings, including delivery and service fees, minimum order amount, and no-contact delivery (won't be applicable to orders containing alcoholic items).
- Choose if you want your orders delivered at specific times or any time during your delivery hours.
- Toggle the ability to mark orders as Ready before marking as Complete, and select when you want your order tickets to print.
- Set the hours and days of the week customers can have their orders delivered.
- Adjust any remaining Location details and Site visibility settings.
- Select Save when finished.
